Hello all!
Hope you all made it through the spring snowstorm okay. Here in Newmarket, NH, we got about 6" of heavy, wet snow that brought down power lines and tree limbs. We had no power at our townhouse from Wednesday late evening
until noontime on Friday....felt like we were camping. We just got out our whole stash of candles and tried to make the best of it. The dog and kitties just huddled with us every night. It was a little chilly Friday morning inside -- it was 56 degrees! Thank God for gym memberships that include shower facilities! : ) Here are a few pictures outside our townhouse, one of them showing one of the downed power lines (2nd photo). But thankfully, there was enough room for me to get the car by to get to work. While I was at work, Richard let Frederico explore the snow on the deck.
Today, we emptied the entire contents of the refrigerator into trash bags and headed for the dump, then headed to the grocery store to replenish all that we lost....one way to get started with spring cleaning! : ) Now let's hope Mother Nature starts giving us some nice spring weather instead of this white stuff! Have a good rest of the weekend! Happy Easter!
Chris & Richard
