News from Newburyport!

NEWBURYPORT LITERARY FESTIVAL -- This morning, Richard and I met up with Pearl (our mentor) and Skye (the publicist for the Newburyport Literary Festival www.newburyportliteraryfestival.org) at Angie's Coffee Shop in Newburyport to discuss our upcoming volunteer assignment on April 27th & 28th. We will be photographing the event starting the evening of Friday, April 27th (check the website for all the details) and then we will be photographing all of the authors who are doing readings at the various locations on Saturday. Richard, Pearl, Cheryl & Jessica and I will be volunteering our time for this wonderful event. This is mostly a free event, except for the fundraising dinner being held on Friday night at the Greek Church in Newburyport. Come on down to Newburyport and check out the fun! Hope to see you there!

OUR ARIZONA FRIENDS ARE BACK IN TOWN! -- Now that Spring has arrived, so have our friends Pearl and Cheryl. They headed back into Newburyport this past week from their wintering spot in Arizona. We missed them sooooo much!! They brought back with them a new addition to their family -- an RV! What a great way to enjoy retirement and see lots of places. As you can see, their dogs Blanche & Lucy are very happy in the new vehicle, too!
Hey, if anyone knows of a good place near Newburyport where they can store their RV from now until they head back to Arizona in the fall, let me know. The RV is too wide to keep in their driveway, so they would be up for putting either with someone who has a big yard who could rent them space or a RV storage area. You can email Pearl at pyracette@hotmail.com.
Have a great weekend and stay safe and dry during the impending Nor'Easter!
Best,
Chris & Richard
