WHAT AN EXCITING DAY!!
Today while I was at the Oprah Magazine "O-You" seminar in Boston (which was FABULOUS!), I got a phone call telling us one of our photos on display at the Topsfield Fair was chosen as the People's Choice for Professional Photography! So, we were asked to come by the fair today (they would meet us at the front gate and give us a parking pass and fair passes to get into the fair) for an award's ceremony at 4:45 pm. There was a little confusion at first since the photo that won was listed under my name, but in actuality it was Richard's photo. The photo that won was a shot that Richard took during one of our photo shoots with a client's two children on a North Shore beach. He got 93 votes for the photo, leading the next candidate by 22 points! Many thanks to all of you who voted!!! This award really means a lot to us! THANK YOU!! He received an engraved silver bowl as his award and the press was there to document the event. For those of you who know Richard, he is not one that likes the spotlight (he would rather be in stealth mode behind the camera or the computer). He did great, accepted the award and said a few words. GREAT JOB, RICHARD!!! WAY TO GO!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Hey Guys...CONGRATS!!!! We were in Florida and recieved the call on our cell phones that Richard won 1ST Place with the picture of our kids!!! All my friends & neighboors are saving the newspaper for us to see when we return!! We get so many compliments all the time on that picture, it really did come out so great!!. He has an art of capturing the candid innocence of the kids!! The picture is so crisp & clear too!! We couldn't be happier for you!!!
