A Sneak Peek at Bethany & Jasper's Wedding!

We had a great wedding yesterday.....Congratulations Bethany & Jasper!! Richard, Jessica (Goochmedia) and I are all recovering today....what a workout shooting a wedding is (who needs the gym??!)....we love it and love being pumped up on the adreneline from all the excitement, but the next day we always plan as a "recovery" day. : ) So, today, we are just hanging out and we are shortly going to a "thank you" party in Newburyport for when we volunteered to photograph the Newburyport Literary Festival...it will be nice to see everyone again.

Anyway....back to the wedding!!! We had some thundershowers a couple of hours before the wedding, but that didn't last long and the sun came out, which made everyone very happy. It was a beautiful, outdoor wedding at the family farmhouse and everyone looked so happy and beautiful. The bride was stunning, which left the groom speechless. It was a brief 10 minute ceremony and then we shot some formal pictures on the beautiful property. The reception was set up in a tent on the property and was picture perfect. The catering staff and the food were wonderful (wish we had gotten their names!) and the band that played was OUTSTANDING!! They came all the way from Illinois -- they are friends of the groom. They played country music and had everyone dancing throughout the night.

I have to say, the two flower girls really stole the show -- they were sooooo cute in their little white dresses! One of them was still going strong at 10 pm burning up the dance floor with all the adults. It was a very fun evening and we thank Bethany, Jasper and their families for welcoming us into their home to photograph their very special wedding day.
