Another 50th Birthday Party! Congrats, Pam!

Wow! This year is filled with LOTS of big birthday celebrations! This weekend we headed off to western Massachusetts to celebrate yet another 50th birthday! Our long time friend, Pam, hit the big 5-0 this weekend and we surprised her with a party! Her husband, Bob, and our friends Katherine, Ed & Pam (another Pam) helped put this whole thing together and did a FABULOUS job! There was enough food to feed an army and plenty of beverages to keep the troops happy.

Katherine, Pam and I have been friends for over 20 years and we don't always have the chance to all get together too often, so this was a special evening.

We celebrated till around midnight and then Richard, Amber and I hit the hay at Katherine & Ed's house.

We continued the celebration this morning with a hearty breakfast at Pam & Bobs, just a couple houses up the road (very convenient!). Bob and the Pams cooked a yummy breakfast and it felt like we were at a B&B, sipping our coffee and eating our breakfast on their soon to be completed screened in porch.

Little did Pam know that she was going to be spending the whole weekend with one birthday surprise after the next (they started celebratory events on Thursday night!) !! She had planned on finishing off her screened in porch on her deck. Since there were no screens up yet, only framing, we had to be careful not to fall out of the deck! We were safe, we just worried about the dogs! We were kidding her saying "man! that glass is so clean on your porch! Bob must have spent all day cleaning it!

After breakfast, Katherine and I headed down to see her two horses, Governor and Killian? (I think)....it was my first time meeting them since she got them. They are BEAUTIFUL horses and so friendly. She wanted me to get some pictures of them for her. They are both 16 hands high.....BIG GUYS!!!

Once we finished that, she also wanted us to get a few new shots of her husband, Ed, with his company truck. Ed has his own handyman business, Husbands for Hire, http://www.hubbiesforhire.com/ which is doing great after only being in business a few years. They are looking to franchise this business.

Pam, with such a grand birthday celebration this year, we know you will have nothing but good things coming your way for the next 50! Cheers!
Slideshow will be coming soon. Check back soon!
