We were invited to attend this Gala by our friends Chris & Adria; Adria is on the board of the Scituate Library Foundation. We had the chance to meet some of their very fun friends Rosemary, Don, Kate, Gary & David. There were lots of laughs and great conversations had by all. We had our waitress take our picture so you can see the whole crew! Food was great and the place looked great! Thanks again for the invite! We had a great time!
FYI...Our friend David has just gotten reactivated by the military and will be heading to Bagdad within the month and will be there for about 12 months. I ask that all of you keep David in your thoughts and prayers.
At the Gala, author Dennis Lehane of Dorchester, was the guest of honor. Lehane is the author of several novels, including the New York Times bestseller Mystic River, which was later made into an Academy Award winning film directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Sean Penn, Tim Robbins, and Kevin Bacon. Reflections by McGarry donated a landscape photo Richard had taken during another trip to Scituate as a door prize item for the event.
