BUSTED!!!!

So, I was laying in bed this morning and I heard some chatter outside my window, so I got up and who did I see, but that darn red squirrel perched on top of the pole that holds our new birdfeeder. He didn't look too happy that we had made a switch-a-roo of the birdfeeder! So, I rushed downstairs, grabbed the camera and headed for the slider. Unfortunately, our slider has tinting on it so we don't get blinded sitting at the kitchen table when the sun is out....so, the pictures are a little dark even though I was shooting at an 800 ISO and shutter speed at 1/50th....I would have scared him away if I opened the door...ANYWAY....I got the shot and continued to watch the show (I know, you're thinking, this lady needs to get a life! -- but when the darn squirrel was eating a half of birdfeeder full of seed in one sitting, you'd be a little crazy, too! LOL). What's great is when he gets on the birdfeeder his weight causes the food holes to be closed up so he can't get ANY food! This thing REALLY works!! (FYI...if you click on any of the pictures in the Blog you can see bigger versions of them)

I'm not sure where Richard purchased this one, but I just found it on Amazon.com cheaper than what we paid and have put it in our Amazon Store on our website under Product of the Month of Useful Products. If you purchase it from us, we get a commission for recommending it (cool, huh). Here's the link

He is a persistant little bugger!

"How come I can't get any food???!"

Hmmm....I'm going to have to go back to the drawing board!

So, he ran away for a bit, so I opened the slider enough to get my lens out and sure enough he came back to assess the situation, and he was not very happy....hey, is this little guy giving me the "bird"???! Well, even if he is, we got the last laugh!

Now Frederico (our maine coon cat) can go back to watching the "bird channel" instead of the "fat red squirrel channel"! LOL Have a great day!!!

Chris
